THE Concern

In the last decades the ancient temples of Greece have become crowded sightseeing places, guarded from anyone that wishes to meditate, perform a ritual or connect with the Divine Force that was revered in the times they were constructed. Organized religion has taken the ownership of rituals and ceremonies, disconnecting the people from themselves and their natural connection to spirituality. We strongly believe that this disconnection is one of the important reasons leading humanity to disempowerment, fear, struggle and mental health problems.

The vision

The HOW

We wish to plant a non-religious, safe and sacred Temple space in Greece, to host and revive in a modern way and without restrictions, our ancient mysteries and traditions, as well as the native wisdom of many ancient cultures.

Following the footsteps of our ancestors, who created temples as the heart of each community, honoring the Divine mother-womb of Creation, providing a sacred space for healing and education for the initiates, we wish to reawaken this precious spiritual service. Their wisdom was profound yet simple: keeping the body-mind-spirit connection healthy and strong, plugged in the universal Source of Energy and Vitality.

Deeply inspired from this multilayered civilization that is respected worldwide for its culture but also for its architecture, we envision a monumental non-religious Main Temple, using ancient universal patterns of sacred geometry architecture. This will act as a hub of recollection, a vibrant space to visit, participate in rituals and enter in a field of tranquility, decompression and reconnection with our authentic conscious Self, as well as our relation with all Life around us.

Αround this main temple called MITIR (=mother), we will plant the “Temple Garden”, which consists of smaller scale temples that each one represents specific virtues and stand as a reminder for the human evolution, such as compassion, forgiveness, generosity, love and more.

In ancient Greece, people used to built small villages near the temples to accommodate the visitors and perform their daily functions. At the surroundings of MITIR: The Temple Garden, we plan to create a retreat and wellness center, to host the people who are attracted from the Temple space and wish to spend more time, integrate and deepen their experience.

Architectural plans, Masterplan and licensing: In order to create the space and reach to a result that can be expanded to create the temple garden, an array of one main temple and many satellite temples, we plan to combine the wisdom and the skills of multiple architects that focus on the specifics of the Greek land but also on sacred geometry and ancient temple technology.
Main Temple Construction: Building a state-of-the-art temple that blends ancient
architectural principles with modern sustainable practices, serving as a central hub for spiritual and community activities.
